Summer Cyber Security Bootcamp

Mr. Angus Smith, Manager of Trinidad and Tobago’s Cyber Incident Response team, and Mr. Anish Bachu, ICT specialist were invited by INCIBE – Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad and OAS Cyber Security – Organización de los Estados Americanos to participate as trainers at a workshop on “Cyber Patrolling Techniques for CSIRTs” and “Technical Communication for Decision Makers (CSIRTs)” held at the annual Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp in León, Spain.

This bootcamp, hosted by INCIBE and OAS Cyber Security, attracted participants from across the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. It highlighted the importance of proactively searching for and identifying cybersecurity threats online and how CSIRTs can effectively communicate technical information to non-technical decision makers, such as executives and/or government officials.
